Antennas, lasers, or other equipment able to jam a radio or visible-light frequency can be useful to prevent communication or an image acquisition. These instruments can be fixed on ground, mounted on vehicles like trucks, ships, aircraft, or also installed on board of satellites.
This type of attack technique cannot be easily mitigated with preventive controls since it is based on the abuse of system features.
