There are several types of attacks that are consistent with this method of exploitation, and they can produce various outcomes. Although, the most prominent of the impacts are denial of service or data corruption. Several elements of the ground station may be targeted by jamming and flooding attacks, and depending on the time of the attack, it can have devastating results to the availability of the system.
This type of attack technique cannot be easily mitigated with preventive controls since it is based on the abuse of system features.
